The window refurbishment to the outbuildings of this 16th century house was a logistical challenge which required forward thinking and a planned schedule that involved a number of different suppliers and trades.

Seven multi pane cast iron windows were carefully removed and taken offsite to be shot blasted, rustproofed and powder coated to a 9010 off white finish. The newly refurbished iron windows were re-glazed with antique crown glass and faced with colour matched silicone.

Two opening leaded light ‘flat iron’ casements were also refurbished as part of the project. The flat iron casements were refurbished to the same specification as the main windows and the leaded lights were rebuilt using the existing historic glass. The re-leaded units were fixed back into the original casements and faced with colour matched silicone.
